FAQ - Frequently asked questions

Façade profiles

Yes. All Taborsky facade profiles are custom-made to measure. Profile geometry, construction width, material thickness, length, surface, and perforation can be adapted exactly to the respective building and architectural requirements.

The costs of a metal facade depend on the material, profile shape, perforation, surface, and project size. Thanks to their long service life, low maintenance, and exact prefabrication, however, metal facades offer an excellent cost-benefit ratio – especially in comparison to conventional facade solutions. Particularly when renovating existing buildings, ventilated metal facades are convincing due to their low weight and easy installation.

The facade profiles are available in almost all RAL, NCS, and special colors. In addition, coil-coated, powder-coated, anodized, and natural surfaces are available. This allows every metal facade to be perfectly adapted to the architectural concept.

Yes, an anodized surface is easily possible, especially with the Taborsky facade profiles.
Anodized surfaces impress with their elegant appearance, high UV resistance, anti-graffiti properties, and long durability - ideal for high-quality architectural projects.

We offer coil anodizing and batch anodizing in various colors, ranging from natural anodized E6/C0 to various coil anodized shades (Bronze 10, Bronze 20, Bronze 30, Bronze 40, Bronze 50, Bronze 60, Bronze 70, Bronze 85) and other anodized shades (E6/C2, E6/C3, E6/C4, E6/C31, E6/C32, E6/C33, E6/C34, E6/C35). Sandalor anodized shades are also available upon request.

Depending on the material and profile type, the Taborsky facade profiles can be manufactured in lengths from approx. 300 mm up to 8,000 mm. This allows large-scale facades to be realized with few joints and a clean, continuous architectural appearance.

A metal facade offers numerous advantages:

  • high durability and weather resistance
  • low weight with high stability
  • great design freedom in color, shape, and texture
  • simple installation for new buildings and renovations
  • low maintenance and sustainable due to recyclability
  • ideally combinable with insulation, PV modules, or roof systems (roof profiles)

Taborsky offers an extensive range of facade profiles for metal facades, including meander profiles (similar to rhombus profiles), trapezoidal profiles (trapezoidal sheets), sawtooth profiles, pointed profiles, corrugated profiles, and special profiles, as well as perforated facade profiles. Individual profiles can also be manufactured according to customer requirements. The profiles are designed for ventilated curtain wall systems and are suitable for both new construction projects and for the renovation of existing buildings.

Taborsky manufactures facade profiles from high-quality metals, including:

  • coated aluminum
  • anodized aluminum (batch anodized or coil anodized)
  • galvanized and coated steel
  • stainless steel (various alloys and surface finishes)
  • copper, titanium zinc, brass, and bronze

The choice of material depends on design, budget, use, and environmental influences.

For perforated metal facades, numerous standard and special perforations are available, e.g.:

  • Round perforations
  • Slotted perforations
  • Square or special shapes
  • Free, project-specific hole patterns

Hole diameter, hole spacing, and arrangement can be defined individually in order to optimally coordinate light, air, privacy, and design.

The perforations can also be adapted to the profile. For example, only the upper flange or lower flange can be perforated (upper flange perforation, web perforation, lower flange perforation).

For commercial and industrial buildings, robust steel metal facades with clear lines and high resistance are particularly suitable.
Large-format facade profiles, such as trapezoidal profiles (trapezoidal sheets), meander profiles (similar to rhombus profiles), sawtooth profiles, pointed profiles, corrugated profiles, and special profiles, as well as perforated metal facades, have proven themselves, as they are durable, low-maintenance, and economical. Functional requirements such as ventilation, light transmission, or visual privacy can also be integrated.
