Ridge caps, edged and profiled

Standard ridge caps (fixed ridge cap) are edged and are used together with toothed sheets and profile fillers. Standard ridge caps have a length of 4 m.
Always specify the ridge length, colour, sheet thickness and roof pitch for each side when ordering.

In addition to fixed ridge caps in lengths of 4 m which are to be used together with profile fillers, our range also includes profiled ridge caps for the flawless sealing of the ridge area. These are adapted to the actual roof pitch and are available for the trapezoidal profiles TR 20/125, TR 35/207, TR 45/333 and TR 50/250.

Ridge caps for the TR 35/207 profile have an overall width of 1035 mm and are produced from a standard cut of 600 mm. For optimum fitting accuracy, it is necessary for the exact roof pitch to be specified. The maximum roof pitch is 30° per side.

Ridge caps for the TR 45/333 profile have an overall width of 1000 mm. The different angle of inclination is achieved by the number of stamps (approx. 5.1° per stamp).

The cut length is dependent on the roof pitch:

• Roof pitch of up to 15° per side gives a cut length of 600 mm
• Roof pitch of up to 25° per side gives a cut length of 800 mm
• Roof pitch of up to 35° per side gives a cut length of 1000 mm

Higher roof pitches are possible upon request.

When using the ridge cap for the TR 45/333 profile, the fact that the rafter length and more specifically the profile sheets must be shorter in order to ensure an optimal fit should be taken into consideration.
